RS Fitness LLC's management is committed to introducing staff to the company’s quality policy and quality system. However, it is the responsibility of each team member to familiarize themselves with and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined within the quality system.
PROGRAM OF WORKS
- The project program of RS Fitness works will be prepared in compliance with the main construction program as prepared by the Main Contractor following detailed coordination.
The program of works will be updated on a fortnightly basis to show the progress of works. The updated program of works will also focus on the delivery schedules of materials.
DELIVERY & STORAGE OF MATERIALS ON SITE
The delivery of materials will be scheduled according to the preparation of the particular area installation. In other words, materials will be delivered to site if that particular area is ready for installation.
The materials will be delivered to the site using trucks and it will take to the installation area by any available tower crane/construction site lift.
Handling of materials on site will be done by skilled and trained personnel.
Upon arrival of the materials to the site, working place / installation area of those particular materials will be verified by the site engineer in coordination with site supervisor. The workers will then be instructed to store the material at the allocated storage area near the particular installation area.
All Fitness equipment are protected with polythene sheets to prevent the external finishing being damaged.
Proper care will be taken by the site supervisor to ensure that the materials are stored in the proper working place to avoid shuffling of materials.
After the Fitness Equipment installation the equipment will be protected by covering with polythene sheet.
Delivery status of the materials will be informed to the Main Contractor / Consultant on weekly/monthly basis.
INSPECTION & TEST PROCEDURES
When all the installation works are complete or where phased handover is required and the relevant area is complete, the Operations Manager will inform the Project Manager to carry out the preliminary inspection of the finished works to ensure that all the elements area ready for inspection by Main Contractor / Consultant / Client’s Representative.
The inspection will be carried out in accordance with the relevant specifications / drawings / inspections and test plans.
Should unsatisfactory work be identified during this inspection by the Consultant / Client’s Representative, a defects list will be prepared, this will treated as snags and the appropriate corrective action will be carried out by Raymond Sport.
When the snags are recertified, inspected and found to be satisfactory, the handing over letter will be requested to be issued by the Main Contractor.
KEY PERSONS
1- PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager will perform the following functions: To act as the main contact for the Main Contractor / Consultant / Client.
To ensure the progress of the project as per the agreed program.
To coordinate the design team assigned to this project.
To develop all technical details and effect the timely submission of drawings for approval.
To make decisions for day to day project activities of engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, delivery and site installation.
To liaise and control the activities of the Site Supervisor.
To coordinate the efforts of the office based personnel such as planning engineers, design staff and assigned fabrication managers, with each other and with the existing situation on site.
Identify and satisfy training / technical needs of personnel reporting to him.
Ensure the effective implementation of the quality system in the area of his control.
Take corrective and preventive actions as required for nonconformities in the area of his control
2- OPERATION MANAGER
Report to the Project Manager with respect to the work progress and relevant information to ensure that work is carried out according to client requirement.
Supervision and follow-up of day to day site work.
Ensure that materials received at site confirm to specified requirements.
Implement corrective and preventive actions as determined by the Project Manager.
Identify training/technical needs of personnel reporting to him.
3- SITE SUPERVISOR / FOREMAN
- To supervise the day to day progress of works.
- To supervise Subcontractor’s quality of material and erection.
- To ensure the program of the installation is in accordance with pre-agreed program.
- To interface with fabricator and stores as far as deliveries of materials are concerned.
- To ensure the compliance with the contractor’s security plan, in particular, access for personnel and materials.
- To accept instruction from the contractor and respond appropriately in addition to erection monitoring, quality control and material flow.
- To implement corrective and preventive action advised by the Project Manager.
4- Site Technician:
To implement the actual work under the supervision of the Project Manager, Operation Manager and Site Supervisor.
